Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex policy issues affecting Georgia's economic development, healthcare, and education sectors
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations aligned with state strategic goals
- Collaborate with legislative stakeholders and agency leadership to implement policy initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive briefings and public hearings
- Monitor federal regulations and assess their impact on state operations
- Lead cross-functional teams to solve systemic public administration challenges
- Manage grant-funded projects supporting community development programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, R, Stata)
- Demonstrated expertise in Georgia state government operations and legislative processes
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with public presentation experience
- Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Professional certification in Public Policy (CPP) preferred
