Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for state programs
- Analyze complex socioeconomic data to inform evidence-based decision-making
- Coordinate interdepartmental task forces on healthcare, education, and infrastructure initiatives
- Prepare testimony and reports for legislative committees and public hearings
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess impacts on Illinois policies
- Maintain stakeholder relationships with community organizations and industry partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, R)
- Illinois residency required at time of hire
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel statewide
- Experience with legislative processes and budget formulation
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
