Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and evaluate complex policy issues affecting Memphis residents
- Develop data-driven recommendations for city council and mayoral initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative reports
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects and stakeholder engagement
- Monitor legislative changes and assess municipal compliance requirements
- Present findings to public officials and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Tennessee state and local government operations
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
