Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate complex public policies aligned with state strategic goals
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement evidence-based solutions
- Present findings to senior leadership and legislative stakeholders
- Manage agency compliance with federal/state regulations
- Oversee budget allocation for policy initiatives
- Mentor junior analysts through knowledge-sharing sessions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years government/public sector policy experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, Python)
- Proven track record in policy implementation and evaluation
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- NC residency required upon hire
- Valid NC driver's license
