Responsibilities
- Analyze complex healthcare legislation and regulatory impacts across North Texas
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for public health initiatives
- Coordinate inter-agency collaborations with local health departments
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs for legislative stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded health equity projects ($2M+ portfolios)
- Conduct community needs assessments across 16 counties
- Lead cross-functional teams on emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS/R)
- Texas residency required upon hire
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Experience with Medicaid/Medicare policy frameworks
- Strong writing skills (sample policy report required)
- PHR/SPHR or MPA certification preferred
