Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate municipal policies using quantitative analysis and stakeholder engagement
- Lead research initiatives on housing, transportation, and economic development priorities
- Present findings to city council members and senior leadership through compelling reports
- Coordinate inter-agency task forces for policy implementation and compliance
- Manage federal/state grant applications and compliance monitoring
- Maintain accurate policy databases and performance metrics dashboards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in government or nonprofit policy analysis role
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, Python, SPSS) and GIS tools
- Demonstrated experience with Philadelphia municipal operations preferred
- Strong writing skills with published policy documents or reports
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to travel to city sites
- Clearances: FBI background check and Pennsylvania Child Abuse History
