Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations using epidemiological data and socioeconomic analysis
- Collaborate with state legislators and federal agencies on healthcare reform initiatives
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with healthcare providers, community organizations, and industry partners
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and impact assessments for executive leadership
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess implications for Colorado's public health infrastructure
- Manage policy implementation timelines and coordinate cross-departmental task forces
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Health, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis (SPSS, R, or SAS) and data visualization tools
- Proven track record of translating complex health data into actionable policy recommendations
- Experience with Colorado's legislative process and regulatory frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
