Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations for statewide adoption
- Analyze complex healthcare data trends and regulatory impacts
- Coordinate with legislators, community organizations, and healthcare providers
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative testimony
- Manage multi-year public health initiative budgets and reporting
- Mentor junior analysts on policy research methodologies
- Monitor federal health policy changes for state adaptation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/healthcare
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Deep knowledge of California healthcare systems and regulations
- Proven stakeholder management experience
- California State residency required
- Valid driver's license may be required
