Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology policy frameworks aligned with state strategic goals
- Analyze complex data to inform legislative recommendations and budget proposals
- Coordinate cross-agency digital transformation initiatives
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with public/private sector partners
- Monitor federal technology regulations and ensure state compliance
- Lead digital equity access programs for underserved communities
- Prepare executive reports and policy briefings for state leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Data Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or regulated sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated success in developing technology policy frameworks
- Illinois residency required upon hire
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Experience with public sector procurement processes
- Strong analytical writing and presentation skills
