Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive policy research and impact analysis for state initiatives
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for legislative and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with agency directors and stakeholders on implementation strategies
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and executive summaries for senior leadership
- Monitor federal policy developments and assess implications for Ohio
- Manage cross-functional project teams for policy implementation
- Present findings to legislative committees and public forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, SPSS)
- Demonstrated success in translating complex data into actionable policy
- Strong knowledge of Ohio legislative processes and regulations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and public speaking
- Valid Ohio driver's license required
