Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health policies and recommend evidence-based improvements
- Collaborate with state agencies to develop coordinated health initiatives
- Prepare detailed policy briefs and legislative recommendations
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using data analysis tools
- Monitor federal/state healthcare legislation and regulatory changes
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community partners
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/healthcare
- Expertise in healthcare data analysis and statistical modeling
- Advanced proficiency in policy development software (e.g., SAS, Stata)
- Demonstrated experience with Texas legislative processes
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for complex audiences
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
