Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative impacts on Milwaukee's housing and infrastructure initiatives
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for economic revitalization projects
- Coordinate interagency collaboration between state and municipal stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage grant applications and compliance for federal/state funding programs
- Lead public engagement sessions with community stakeholders
- Monitor policy implementation effectiveness through KPI tracking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit sector
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SPSS, or SAS) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated experience with Milwaukee municipal governance structures
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research methodologies background
- Excellent written/verbal communication with diverse stakeholders
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- U.S. citizenship required for federal grant compliance
