Responsibilities
- Analyze complex urban policy challenges using quantitative/qualitative research methods
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for city council and mayoral leadership
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on homelessness mitigation and climate action
- Manage $2M+ grant portfolios for federal/state compliance
- Present findings to public stakeholders and legislative bodies
- Mentor junior analysts using Denver's government apprenticeship framework
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years government/public sector experience with budget oversight
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R/Python for policy modeling
- Proven stakeholder engagement with marginalized communities
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Security clearance eligibility (required for federal grant work)
