Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state policies and regulations using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for executive leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional government agencies on implementation strategies
- Prepare concise reports and briefings for legislative stakeholders
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting Georgia's operations
- Mentor junior analysts on policy research methodologies
- Present findings at public hearings and legislative committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government policy analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Deep knowledge of Georgia state government operations
- Experience with federal grant compliance requirements
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Valid Georgia driver's license
