Responsibilities
- Analyze complex state legislation and regulatory impacts
- Develop policy recommendations for cabinet-level review
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using state data systems
- Collaborate with interagency task forces on cross-cutting initiatives
- Present findings to legislative committees and stakeholder groups
- Manage program evaluation frameworks for $50M+ budgets
- Mentor junior analysts on policy research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years policy analysis experience in government sector
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, or Stata)
- Demonstrated experience with Ohio Revised Code
- Advanced stakeholder management skills
- Valid Ohio driver's license
- U.S. citizenship and Ohio residency required
