Responsibilities
- Analyze complex economic data and legislative trends to inform policy recommendations
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and implementation strategies for state initiatives
- Collaborate with elected officials, agency directors, and community stakeholders
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess impacts on Tennessee's economy
- Lead cross-functional task forces addressing workforce development challenges
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Oversee grant programs supporting local economic development projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Expertise in economic development principles and Tennessee state governance
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven track record of crafting actionable policy recommendations
- Strong knowledge of federal/state grant administration processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- US citizenship required for government clearance
