Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and draft legislative recommendations
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research using state datasets
- Coordinate with 15+ state agencies and legislative committees
- Present findings to senior officials and public stakeholders
- Manage policy implementation timelines and compliance tracking
- Develop public education materials on policy impacts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 3+ years policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Expertise in North Carolina legislative processes
- Strong writing samples for policy documents required
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- US citizenship and NC residency required
