Responsibilities
- Develop and implement statewide IT policy frameworks for critical infrastructure
- Analyze legislative impacts on technology governance and compliance
- Coordinate with 200+ state agencies on digital transformation initiatives
- Lead cross-functional projects for cybersecurity and data privacy standards
- Present findings to executive leadership and legislative committees
- Manage stakeholder engagement with public and private sector partners
- Monitor emerging technology trends and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis or IT governance experience
- Texas state government or public sector background preferred
- Expertise in cybersecurity frameworks and data privacy regulations
- Advanced proficiency in policy development and stakeholder management
- Strong analytical skills with quantitative and qualitative research abilities
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel statewide
