Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex economic data to inform policy recommendations
- Develop strategic plans for workforce development initiatives
- Collaborate with state legislators and community stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership
- Monitor federal and state legislation affecting economic development
- Manage grant programs supporting local business expansion
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on emerging economic challenges
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government sector
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Deep knowledge of Tennessee's economic landscape
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience with stakeholder engagement strategies
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
