Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive policy recommendations through quantitative research and stakeholder analysis
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives to implement state legislative mandates
- Prepare detailed fiscal impact assessments for proposed legislation
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Oversee regulatory compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes
- Mentor junior analysts on policy development methodologies
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting state operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government sector
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Knowledge of Arizona legislative processes and budget cycles
- Valid Arizona State Driver's License
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
- Proven track record of managing complex policy projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
