Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate policy proposals aligned with NYC's strategic goals
- Analyze legislative impacts and recommend evidence-based solutions
- Lead cross-departmental task forces on urban sustainability initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for County Executive and Council presentations
- Manage $50M+ grant compliance and reporting processes
- Conduct public sector benchmarking studies against peer municipalities
- Mentor junior analysts and supervise policy research projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and data visualization
- Proven track record of drafting successful municipal legislation
- NYC government grant management certification preferred
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Valid New York State driver's license
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
