Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to develop actionable policy recommendations for Chicago metropolitan area
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft and implement evidence-based health regulations
- Conduct stakeholder engagement with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government officials
- Monitor federal and state legislative changes affecting public health programs
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for executive leadership and legislative bodies
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on health equity initiatives
- Evaluate program effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of policy analysis experience in government or healthcare sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, SAS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated success in developing health policy recommendations for diverse populations
- Strong knowledge of Illinois public health regulations and federal compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Valid Illinois driver's license may be required for occasional travel
