Responsibilities
- Research and analyze complex urban policy issues related to housing, transportation, and sustainability
- Develop data-driven recommendations for City Council and executive leadership
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs, reports, and presentations
- Collaborate with 15+ city departments on cross-functional initiatives
- Track legislative changes and assess potential impacts on Denver communities
- Engage with stakeholders through public forums and advisory committees
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R) and GIS mapping
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable policy recommendations
- Experience with Denver municipal government operations preferred
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
