Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using quantitative/qualitative methods
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for state leadership
- Coordinate with agency stakeholders and legislative committees
- Conduct field research and stakeholder engagement across PA regions
- Monitor federal policy changes affecting Pennsylvania residents
- Present findings to executive leadership and public forums
- Mentor junior analysts on policy evaluation methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, SQL)
- Proven track record of developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with publication portfolio
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania state government operations
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (travel required)
- U.S. citizenship and PA residency required
