Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state legislative priorities
- Analyze complex regulations and their socioeconomic impacts
- Coordinate with 15+ state agencies to align policy objectives
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Manage multimillion-dollar grant programs for community initiatives
- Oversee cross-functional task forces with 30+ stakeholders
- Lead public engagement sessions across 39 counties
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years in government policy development or analysis
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Proficiency in legislative drafting and regulatory frameworks
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Advanced knowledge of Washington State Administrative Code
- Proven track record of implementing successful policy reforms
