Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of federal regulations and policy impacts relevant to the New Mexico region.
- Prepare detailed briefings, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor legislative changes and assess their potential effect on ongoing government operations.
- Collaborate with interagency task forces to ensure compliance with federal standards.
- Manage stakeholder communication to ensure transparency and alignment on policy initiatives.
- Review and audit existing operational procedures to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government policy analysis, regulatory affairs, or a related sector.
- Strong understanding of federal procurement processes and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Tableau, SAS, or Python) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearance.
