Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state health programs
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts
- Collaborate with federal agencies and community stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional task forces on emerging health issues
- Present findings to legislative committees and executive leadership
- Manage grant-funded health equity initiatives
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and adjust strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of policy analysis experience in government/nonprofit
- Advanced knowledge of Texas health systems and regulations
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative research methodologies
- Proven stakeholder management with diverse communities
- Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in SPSS/STATA and GIS mapping tools
