- Oversee digital content creation across city platforms including social media, news portals, and mobile applications
- Coordinate with 15+ city departments to align messaging on equity-focused initiatives
- Analyze public sentiment data to refine engagement strategies and optimize communication channels
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in government/public sector communications with crisis management expertise
- Proven track record developing multi-platform campaigns reaching 500K+ audiences
- Advanced proficiency in CMS platforms, social media analytics, and digital storytelling tools
- Valid California driver's license and ability to work evenings/weekends during critical events
- Spanish bilingual proficiency required for community engagement
