Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health strategies aligned with Metro Nashville's strategic priorities
- Oversee departmental budget ($5M+) and resource allocation for health programs
- Collaborate with state/federal agencies to secure grants and funding opportunities
- Lead crisis response initiatives during public health emergencies
- Manage staff performance and professional development programs
- Analyze health data trends to inform policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health management experience
- PHR/SPHR certification or equivalent credentials preferred
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (CDC, HRSA)
- Strong proficiency in health data analytics tools (Tableau, SAS)
- Tennessee government security clearance eligibility
