Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations for disease outbreaks and public health emergencies
- Develop data-driven policy recommendations for community health initiatives
- Analyze complex health datasets using advanced statistical software (R, SAS, Python)
- Coordinate multi-agency responses to public health threats
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct training programs
- Present findings to legislative bodies and community stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of public health analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization
- Experience with California public health systems and regulations
- Valid California driver's license
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Demonstrated experience with health equity initiatives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
