Responsibilities
- Oversee development and implementation of county-wide public health strategies
- Manage $2M+ budget allocation for health programs and initiatives
- Coordinate with state agencies, healthcare providers, and community stakeholders
- Lead crisis response protocols for public health emergencies
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform policy recommendations
- Supervise 15+ staff members including epidemiologists and outreach coordinators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public health management
- Texas Public Health Professional certification required
- Proven budget management experience for programs >$1M
- Expertise in health data analytics and reporting tools
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, CDC, and Texas Health & Human Services regulations
