Responsibilities
- Develop and execute county-wide public health strategies aligned with state and federal guidelines
- Manage $5M+ annual budgets for health programs and emergency response initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams during public health crises including disease outbreaks
- Analyze health data trends to inform policy recommendations for county commissioners
- Forge partnerships with hospitals, schools, and non-profits to address health disparities
- Oversee compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC regulations
- Represent the county at state health board meetings and community forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in public health management or government healthcare
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or Healthcare Executive (CHE) preferred
- Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets
- Expertise in health data analytics and epidemiological reporting
- Strong crisis management experience during public emergencies
- Knowledge of Colorado state health regulations and local governance structures
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and policy advocacy
