Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive public health research initiatives to identify community needs and emerging health threats
- Analyze complex datasets to inform policy recommendations and program development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop evidence-based health interventions
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for government stakeholders and community partners
- Monitor compliance with federal and state health regulations and reporting requirements
- Lead community outreach initiatives to gather stakeholder feedback on health programs
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure proper budget utilization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Policy, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health analysis or policy development
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and program evaluation
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and Texas Department of State Health Services protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present to diverse audiences
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel to multiple county sites
