Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends in underserved communities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state health initiatives
- Coordinate interagency collaborations with county health departments
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+
- Present findings to legislative stakeholders and community leaders
- Oversee compliance with Title X and ACA regulations
- Mentor junior staff on public health research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years experience in government/public health sector
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis
- Valid California driver's license
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Experience with CMS 1500 forms and Medi-Cal billing
- Knowledge of Healthy People 2030 objectives
