Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations for infectious disease outbreaks
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health interventions
- Analyze health data to identify disparities and inform policy decisions
- Collaborate with community organizations on health education campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports for federal/state grant compliance
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Mentor junior staff on public health methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government/public health sector
- Advanced statistical analysis skills (SPSS, R, SAS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Experience with grant writing and compliance reporting
- Valid California Driver's License
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Korean strongly preferred
