Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic initiatives
- Lead inter-agency task forces on emergency preparedness and disease prevention
- Develop grant proposals securing federal/state funding for health initiatives
- Present findings to city officials and community stakeholders
- Oversee compliance with CDC and Kentucky Department for Public Health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of public health program management experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Experience with federal grant reporting requirements
- Strong written communication skills for policy documentation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
