Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to identify trends and inform strategic initiatives
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for chronic disease prevention
- Collaborate with community partners to design outreach programs for underserved populations
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders and policymakers
- Oversee grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Train staff on public health data analysis methodologies
- Represent the agency in interdepartmental and community health forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health analytics experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Proven experience with grant management and compliance reporting
- Strong knowledge of CDC/DOH public health frameworks and regulations
- Excellent written communication skills for policy briefs and technical reports
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel countywide
- PH certification or MPH preferred
