Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic interventions
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers and community organizations to enhance service delivery
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state health initiatives
- Lead community outreach campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership and legislative bodies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization
- Proven experience in grant writing and project management
- Strong knowledge of Texas public health regulations and compliance standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
