Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive health data analysis frameworks to identify emerging public health trends
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for state legislators and community stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional task forces addressing health equity disparities in urban populations
- Manage complex grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $2M annually
- Present findings to executive leadership through data visualizations and executive summaries
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining compliance with HIPAA and FERPA regulations
- Coordinate with local health departments to ensure statewide program alignment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public health analysis or policy development
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, or SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience managing public health grants and budgets
- Strong understanding of Washington State public health systems and regulations
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Valid Washington State driver's license and ability to travel statewide as needed
