Responsibilities
- Design and implement epidemiological studies analyzing health trends in vulnerable communities
- Develop evidence-based policy recommendations for County Board of Supervisors
- Coordinate cross-departmental emergency response initiatives during public health crises
- Manage $5M+ grant portfolios for community health programs
- Lead data visualization initiatives using Tableau/Power BI
- Mentor junior analysts and train public health professionals
- Present findings to governmental bodies and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of government/public sector health analytics experience
- Advanced certification in SAS/R statistical software
- Experience with LA County health data systems (e.g., CHSRA)
- Valid California driver's license
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Korean required
- Knowledge of ACA/ACA implementation protocols
- Clearance through County background investigation
