Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological surveillance and data analysis for county-wide health initiatives
- Develop evidence-based public health policies and emergency response protocols
- Coordinate cross-departmental health programs with community stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $2M+ annually
- Present findings to county commissioners and legislative bodies
- Mentor junior analysts in public health methodologies
- Oversee compliance with CDC and AZ Department of Health standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years in government/public health sector experience
- Advanced certification in epidemiology (CPH or equivalent)
- Proficiency in SAS/R and health data visualization tools
- Experience managing federal/state grant compliance
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
