Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive health intervention programs targeting Louisville's underserved communities
- Analyze complex epidemiological data using SAS/SPSS to identify emerging health trends
- Secure and manage federal/state grants exceeding $500K annually
- Present findings to the Jefferson County Board of Health and City Council
- Lead cross-departmental task forces for emergency response coordination
- Mentor junior analysts and develop departmental training protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health analysis experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (SAS/R) and GIS mapping
- Proven grant-writing success with federal agencies (CDC/HRSA)
- Kentucky government HR certification preferred
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
