Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop evidence-based health intervention programs targeting underserved populations
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to implement public health initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for city council and community stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct community outreach and education on public health initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health analysis or program management
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of CA public health regulations and compliance standards
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state funding applications
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
