Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological research and disease surveillance initiatives
- Analyze public health data using SAS, R, or Python to identify trends
- Develop evidence-based health intervention programs
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for city leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+
- Train junior staff on public health methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health data analysis
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, STATA, or R)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive data access
