Responsibilities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and develop evidence-based intervention strategies
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships to implement public health initiatives across Arizona counties
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for state leadership and stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Lead community outreach programs to address health disparities in underserved populations
- Train and mentor junior staff on public health protocols and data analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public health analysis or healthcare policy
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R) and health data visualization tools
- Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to travel statewide as needed
- Proven experience with grant writing and federal program compliance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
