Responsibilities
- Develop and execute county-wide emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Coordinate inter-agency operations with Boston EMS, hospitals, and community partners
- Lead data-driven decision-making during public health emergencies
- Train county staff on emergency response procedures and compliance
- Manage grant-funded projects for emergency infrastructure enhancement
- Prepare federal compliance reports for FEMA and CDC
- Conduct risk assessments for vulnerable populations in Boston
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health emergency response
- FEMA Professional Development Series (PDS) certification required
- Proven crisis management experience in government or non-profit
- Advanced data analysis skills (SPSS, R, or Tableau)
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Experience with NIMS/ICS frameworks
