Responsibilities
- Lead multi-agency emergency response operations during public health crises
- Develop and implement rapid-deployment communication strategies for diverse communities
- Coordinate resource allocation across 15+ county departments and 50+ partner organizations
- Analyze real-time epidemiological data to inform crisis intervention protocols
- Design equity-focused outreach programs for vulnerable populations
- Manage incident command systems during declared emergencies
- Train 200+ public health professionals on emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Emergency Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health emergency response coordination
- Incident Command System (ICS-400) certification required
- Expertise in crisis communication and multi-agency collaboration
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and public health data visualization tools
- Spanish bilingual proficiency strongly preferred
- Proven ability to operate under extreme pressure with competing priorities
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
