Responsibilities
- Analyze public health data to inform evidence-based policy recommendations
- Develop and implement community health improvement strategies
- Collaborate with state/federal agencies on grant-funded initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and stakeholders
- Lead cross-departmental health equity task forces
- Monitor compliance with CA Health & Safety Code regulations
- Manage $2M+ public health program budgets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Policy Analysis, or related field
- 5+ years of government/public health experience
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- CA Public Health Analyst certification preferred
- Experience with federal grant reporting (CDC, HRSA)
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of CA Title 22 regulations
- Valid California driver's license
