Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policies addressing chronic disease prevention and health equity initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging public health threats and trends
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to design culturally responsive health programs
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefs and legislative recommendations for city leadership
- Manage grant-funded projects focused on maternal health and vaccine accessibility
- Evaluate program effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative metrics
- Lead cross-departmental health emergency response planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health policy experience with government agencies
- Expertise in health data analysis using SPSS, SAS, or R
- Proven track record in developing equitable health interventions for diverse populations
- Strong grant management experience with federal/state funding sources
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for policy advocacy
- Valid Georgia driver's license
