Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate comprehensive public health policies addressing chronic disease prevention, health disparities, and emergency preparedness
- Analyze complex health data sets to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making
- Coordinate interagency collaborations with healthcare providers, community organizations, and academic institutions
- Prepare detailed policy briefs, grant proposals, and legislative recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead community needs assessments and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Monitor federal/state health regulations and ensure compliance with local implementation
- Manage public health program budgets and resource allocation planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in public health policy analysis or government administration
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis software (R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with health policy development and implementation in municipal settings
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia's public health landscape and community health needs
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills with proven ability to present complex concepts
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
